THEMATIC AREAS OF THE CONFERENCE

ROUND TABLE 1. PROFESSIONAL CAREER OF UNIVERSITY LECTURERS
Among the objectives of this round table are to present the current state of the teaching staff in the area of Physiotherapy at national level, analysing the future challenges they face; to reflect on the professional career and the meaning of being a university lecturer, and the impact that future legislative changes may have on it.

ROUND TABLE 2: TEACHING INNOVATION AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY 
The objectives of this round table include analysing the educational application of ICT in Physiotherapy, reflecting on the lessons learned during the pandemic and presenting experiences of innovation in teaching and learning processes, paying special attention to the promotion of social responsibility.

ROUND TABLE 3: SCIENCE, RESEARCH AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER IN PHYSIOTHERAPY: 
This round table will focus on the analysis of the current situation of research and knowledge transfer in Physiotherapy, trying to carry out an analysis of the weaknesses, threats, strengths and opportunities in this field within the area of Physiotherapy.

ROUND TABLE 4: STUDENTS
This round table will be aimed at analysing aspects of interest to students, with the presentation of innovative experiences, entrepreneurship and employability.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The rules for the preparation of abstracts are mandatory.
Papers must be original and must not have been presented at previous conferences or similar meetings.

The maximum number of authors will be 15 people, and at least 8 of them must be registered at the Congress.

Papers must be submitted in Spanish or English.
The abstracts of the communications will be sent in electronic format through the web page of the Conference on Education in Physiotherapy.

The type of paper and the format must be chosen. The Scientific Committee may assign the submitted paper to the form of presentation (oral communication or poster) it considers most appropriate to the type and/or assign it to another thematic area according to its content.

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject papers that do not meet the above requirements for the quality and subject matter required for the scientific event. 


PREPARATION OF THE ABSTRACT
Each paper must include the following information:

Title: The title should be brief (maximum 15 words) and specific. It should reflect the content of the presentation. Do not use abbreviations in the title. It should be written in capital letters.
Authors: It should be written in lower case. The surname or surnames followed, without commas, by the initial of each author's name, separated by commas (Pérez Antón F, Gutiérrez Galindo M). The author presenting the paper should be underlined.

Centre: Indicate the work centre of the authors. If there are several authors, indicate with a superscript number.

Preference of presentation:

Text: The maximum length of the text is 300 words. It should be written in lower case. Unexplained abbreviations should be avoided. The content of the abstract should be written without repeating the title of the paper. Depending on the type of paper selected, the following outlines will be used:

- SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATION: Introduction, objectives, material and methods, results and conclusions.

- COMMUNICATION OF EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE/INNOVATION: Introduction, contextualisation, design and development, evaluation and conclusions.

Bibliographical references will not be included in the abstract.
Three keywords from the MeSH Database (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/mesh) or DeCS (https://decs.bvsalud.org/E/homepagee.htm) should also be included. 


NOTIFICATION OF RECEIPT OF THE COMMUNICATION

Within 20 days from the end of the deadline for submission of papers, the Secretariat of the IX National and V International Conference on Physiotherapy Education will confirm receipt of the paper. 


REGISTRATION OF THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATION

Each person may participate in as many papers as he/she deems appropriate, but may only defend or present a maximum of two papers (oral communication or poster).
Once the paper has been accepted, half plus one of the authors who sign it must have registered and paid the registration fees for the IX National and V International Conference on Physiotherapy Education by 30 October 2022. Otherwise, the paper will be removed from the programme and from the supplement of the Revista Fisioterapia. 


CERTIFICATIONS

A certificate will be sent by e-mail to the author of the presentation, in electronic format, in which all the authors of the presentation will be listed. 


PUBLICATION OF SCIENTIFIC PAPERS

The abstracts of the scientific papers (oral communications and posters) accepted and presented at the IX National and V International Conference on Physiotherapy Education will be published as a supplement to the Revista Fisioterapia.
