Esther Maria Medrano Sanchez

Physiotherapist, PhD from the University of Seville in 2010, and specialist in pelvic floor dysfunctions. Associate Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Seville. 

She has more than 20 years of experience in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunctions, both in the field of care and teaching. Researcher member of the research group PAIDI CTS-305 of the Junta de Andalucía, developing the research line of abdomino-pelvic-perineal physiotherapy, physiotherapy in oncology and chronic pain. Responsible for several research contracts and collaborator in a project funded by the Carlos III Institute. Author of more than 30 scientific publications, most of them indexed in JCR.

Since 2015 she is Vice-Dean of Physiotherapy of the Faculty of Nursing, Physiotherapy and Podiatry of the University of Seville, and since 2020 Secretary of the National Conference of Deans of Faculties of Physiotherapy.
